Conference Summary

The Kobayashi-Hitchin correspondence, proven by Donaldson and Uhlenbeck-Yau, allows one to use the methods of theoretical physics and geometric analysis to study the classical structures of algebraic geometry. We aim to bring together specialists in complex algebraic geometry and related gauge theory to review the recent advances in the theory of stable bundles and their moduli spaces.
